Chocolate and Cinnamon Bengals

The Chocolate and cinnamon bengal are colors that have been around since the establishment of the breed, though rare they still pop up from time to time. Now, with genetic testing breeders can effectively choose to breed or eliminate certain colors from their program. The chocolate color gene (b) and Cinnamon (b1) are found on the Brown locus, when a cat is b/b, b/b1 or b1/b1 the cat is either chocolate (b/b, b/b1) or cinnamon (b1/b1). This color is very rich with caramel coloration, paw pads are pink and tail tip diluted to a light chocolate color.

Pet kittens will be offered on rare occasions. You can contact us to be placed on a waiting list for a chocolate or cinnamon kitten.

*Note, Cinnamon is not Red (o gene). Red is a sex-linked gene that has recently been introduced into the breed by a few select programs.
